What do I mean by help support disability awareness? Essentially all proceeds for the purchase of my book and or donations go to helping me and my team to continue filming my TV Show, doing my radio spots on local channels, setting up speaking arrangements, marketing online, and helping support charities such as Three To Be, all this will expose the general population to a person (TV Show host) with a disability. The desensitization that will follow as a result of regular able bodied people being exposed to someone with Cerebral Palsy as a TV Show host with as much personality and charm as the rest will change the public perception as to what to expect when running into someone with a disability or in a wheelchair. As acceptance and levels of education go up, stereotypes will go down, and I can even see the need for better accessibility being addressed due to public demand. Everyone wins when we work together for equality and a better life.
Donating means supporting me on my journey as I speak at events, as I Host my TV Show, and as I help support different organizations on my journey to expose the world to a “disabled person” and help raise Disability Awareness and educate.
